Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 1 May 2026
Our commitment
123 Tax is committed to making its software accessible to as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technologies.
What we aim for
We aim for the 123 Tax web portal and marketing site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Our approach
- We design and build the portal using the PrimeNG component library, which provides a baseline of WCAG-compatible patterns for keyboard navigation, focus management, and ARIA labelling.
- We test new features with keyboard-only navigation and screen reader assistive technology before release.
- We run automated accessibility checks (axe-core) against our key user journeys as part of our continuous-integration pipeline.
What works well
- All interactive controls are reachable by keyboard.
- Form labels are explicitly associated with their inputs.
- Colour is not used as the sole means of conveying information.
- Page structure uses semantic HTML headings and landmarks.
Known limitations
We are not yet fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Areas we are actively working on:
- Full screen-reader walkthroughs of the more complex submission flows (CIS amendments, ITSA quarterly updates).
- Colour-contrast review of secondary text on dashboard widgets.
- Skip-to-content links on the marketing site.
We will update this statement as we close these gaps.
